New CFK class?

If you troll over the Hunger Games post, I responded to someone's post about books/movies by saying we could make a CFK class called Books That Were Turned Into Movies: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. We could talk about the differences, which was better (the book or the movie) and why, why the directors/screenplay writers make so many changes, etc. Then Rod said we could make trailers advertising them. Whatcha think?

  3. That would be. If we take books that haven't been made into movies yet and make trailers, that would be awesome!

  9. Understanding Old English
I really want to understand books that were written before we lost a lot of the English language.
I was supposed to take Understanding Shakespeare but it was cancelled.

  12. I LOVE OLD ENGLISH. But do you mean OLD English, or Shakespeare's English? Old English looks like this: Het þa hyssa hwæne hors forlætan,
    feor afysan, and forð gangan,
hicgan to handum and to hige godum.

(I had to copy and paste to get the right characters from: http://catterall.net/OE/texts/a9.html. It's one of my favorite OE poems.)

Shakespeare's English is technically Modern English, believe it or not.
