just read the book and it is so good can't wait to read it in class!!!!

ReplyDeletesara and i just finnished the book and my fave part was when emily went over to maya's house the night after the party only to find cops there when emily finds maya and asked what happened maya says "they found your friend,alison" emily gets excited and and thinks she really there but then maya says "no they found her body". i like that part because its sad. my least fave part is when they are at ali's dead thingy because its sad

ReplyDeleteThat is definitely sad! I think when authors play with words like that (by just saying "they found her") it makes for a good shock...even if we knew they meant her body.

ReplyDeleteI get a little miffed when I expect a book to have a happy ending (or at least not a tragic one), but it seems like I always expect a happy ending. The ones that DON'T have happy endings seem to be the ones that stick with us!

ReplyDeleteWell Gabby, you were right. This was a book that was hard to put down! I finished it on Sunday and wishedwishedwished I had the second one to continue on to. I have a question for those of you who have read this: are the lives the pretty little liars lead representative of the lives you and your friends lead? Do you shop at Tiffany's on the weekends? Does your boyfriend's dad have a BMW he'll let him use in a few years?

ReplyDeleteIt is definitely realllllllly girly. I think that for a lot of people, identifying with characters like Spencer, Aria, etc. that are rolling in the dough is difficult when the reader her/himself can't imagine doing some of the things they do in the book. On the other hand, that's part of why people read it--very similar to watching reality shows of the rich and famous.

ReplyDeleteHaha i agree, just to a lesser degree. I didnt think it was that terribly bad. I didnt like it... it was definitly wayy to girly.... but i dont like, hate, it. I probably wont read any more of the books in this series.

ReplyDeleteWell it is about for girls who are in a clique called Pretty Little Devils. One girl is secretly the killer and sends texts threatening to tell their secrets or kill them or their friends.

ReplyDeleteWell it is WAY MORE interesting to me then Pretty Little Liars was! It is very simliar in some ways and very different in some ways! All in all Pretty Little Devils was way better to me than Pretty Little Liars ever will be!
