ReplyDeleteWOOHOOO I'm in this book reading group and I really like this book so far........ BUT....I kind of have a werid but not so weird question.......What is with the Five Hundred Years Before part? It's a preface i know that much but it is also rather confusing. Maybe it will make more sense later on. : /

ReplyDeletei told u guys it was an awesome book i've read it like two times my favorite part is when maggie's sister shows her the girl with no heart and a hole cut in where the heart is supposed to be!!!!
ReplyDeleteEw! No heart??
ReplyDeleteHere is what the book is mostly about:
ReplyDeleteIt's mostly about this girl and her twin sister Remy who died in a car crash and her dad was put into a coma. Since her death Remy has been haunting her and Remy is apparing more and more often. She luckly finds a boy who can see the ghosts too! Remy is giving signals that someone is denfinitely in danger.... she's just not sure who...

ReplyDeleteit's just very well written although i caught a couple typos. lol
it's a page turner
I have never read anything like it at all and I love reading scify/horror/romance books
Ron Weasley, it annoys me when I find typos in a published book. What are the editors doing??
ReplyDeleteI love the book so far!! You just never know what's going to happen next! :)
ReplyDeleteits so sad when she finds out who i think you'll like it Ms.B!
ReplyDeleteit is so sad when she finds out who but i think you'll like it Ms.B!
ReplyDeleteYeah, no heart! its very grotesque and detailed description of a girl who had a cavity in her chest where her heart should have been.
ReplyDeleteIt is described a couple times throughout the book.
But there is a reason for it, I think. = / I'm not quite that far yet.
oh there is a reason!! but i'm glad u guys like it.
ReplyDeletei love finding typos it just goes to show you that noone perfect so we shouldn't try to be

ReplyDeleteOMG All I HAVE TO SAY IS........ THANK GOD FOR REMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletethis has to be one of my all time favorite book it is just...... AMAZING
This book is an amazing thriller filled with twists and turns. These twists make it IMPOSSIBLE to put down, a total page turner.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I would not recommend this book to any person under the age of 12 or 13, for some disturbing content, Devoured is totally a book I would recommend to one of my friends.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great sci-fy/horror story with a twist of romance. It has a great balance of scary and sweet. Amanda Marrone is a great author. I will definitely read another of her novels. I only wish there was a sequel to Devoured.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading it and during the storm i thought that a freako would come in and cut my heart out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis book is awesome! I am definaltly going to read her other books too, Uninvited and Revalers!! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to the author's website with descriptions of her other books. No word about a sequel, but I'd be willing to be there will be!
